Job summary

Kettle Cuisine in Everett, WA is seeking a Prep Associate to ensure safety, quality, and accurate measuring of ingredients using spoons, cups, and scales. The role focuses on proper cooking, batching, documentation, and changeovers to support high-quality food production.

You will follow HACCP, GMP, and food safety standards, maintain supply integrity, check allergen labeling, and assist with line documentation and shift readiness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction and measurements.
• Understanding of food safety and allergen control preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attendance: accurately enter daily hours in line with attendance policy.
• Check allergen labels, expiration dates, and lot traceability.
• Maintain ingredient integrity and prevent cross-contamination.
• Escalate product safety issues to the Lead (e.g., safety hazards, equipment concerns).
• Support line documentation (AC-1 form, job ticket, cleaning records, CCP2, 5S).
• Follow safety, GMP and quality standards; use PPE and report incidents.
