Job summary

MCC is seeking a Blumer Operator in Ohio to set up and run cutting machines (Blumer or PMC Die Cutter) to produce finished products to exact lengths and widths. You will review job tickets, load materials, run the cutter, and ensure clean, accurate cuts while maintaining safety and efficiency.

The role involves operating hand tools, changing knife blades as needed, and assisting with loading/unloading, with opportunities to train new operators and participate in process improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1–2 years of experience on various cutting operations.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
• Ability to interpret instructions written, oral or diagram form and apply common sense to carry them out.

Responsibilities

• Review job tickets and determine customer specifications.
• Operate computer to check or modify program; obtain QA approval to run job.
• Set cutter side guides and load product; maintain cutting specifications.
