Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a 2nd shift CNC Mill Machinist in Seattle to set up, edit, and operate CNC mills for precision aerospace parts. The role emphasizes independent part production with basic GD&T understanding and on-machine adjustments, without full programming responsibility.

You will read blueprints, verify tolerances with calipers and micrometers, and ensure quality while maintaining a clean work area. Aerospace experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Previous CNC milling experience required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines.
• Make offsets and edit CNC/G-code programs as needed.
• Set up tooling, fixtures, and workholding.
• Read blueprints and understand GD&T.
• Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.
• Troubleshoot basic machining or quality issues.
• Make adjustments to keep parts within tolerance.
• Work with tight-tolerance aerospace components.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
