Job summary

Le Sueur Inc. is seeking a Plastics Supervisor for the 2nd shift (Mon-Thu, 3:15 pm–1:45 am with OT Fri/Sat). The role leads molding operations, ensures safety, quality, and cost targets, and guides a team of employees through planning, setup, and continuous improvement initiatives.

You will supervise setups, troubleshoot issues, review production plans, and maintain accurate reports while coaching staff to meet performance expectations and company standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years in a plastics manufacturing environment required.
• 3-5 years of plastics manufacturing or injection molding experience preferred.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and coordinate daily molding operations for the shift.
• Supervise machine setup, changeovers, and startup procedures.
• Monitor production, quality, and safety to meet goals.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement corrective actions.
• Coach and develop team members, monitor performance and attendance.
• Prepare shift reports and ensure accurate labor entries.
• Promote continuous improvement and lean initiatives.
