Job summary

Pretium is seeking a Plastics Machine Operator for the 2nd shift (2:00 pm – 10:30 pm) at our Aurora, IL facility. Duties include setting up and operating plastic molding machines, monitoring performance, and performing routine maintenance.

You will inspect finished products for quality and document outcomes, ensuring safety and efficiency on the line. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, experience with plastic molding equipment, and strong mechanical aptitude.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential.
• Experience with plastic molding machines is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate plastic molding machines.
• Monitor machine performance and conduct routine maintenance.
• Inspect finished products for quality and document results.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping standards as per policies.
• Assist with training other operators and provide coverage as needed.
