Job summary

Pretium Packaging is seeking a Plastics Machine Operator on the 2nd shift (2:00 pm - 10:30 pm) in Aurora, IL. You will set up, operate plastic molding machines, monitor performance, and perform routine maintenance.

Responsibilities include quality inspections, adjusting machines, maintaining safety and housekeeping, and documenting production data. Prior experience with plastic molding preferred; HS diploma required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous experience operating plastic molding machines preferred.
• Strong understanding of plastic manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate production machines, monitor performance and perform routine maintenance.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and make adjustments as necessary.
• Start up machines, verify set points, and purge as required.
• Maintain clean workspace and follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Record production and quality data and close out production run.
• Provide relief for breaks and assist with training others.
