Airgas is hiring a Plant Operator for the Ringgold, GA facility on the 2nd shift. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining production equipment, including filling cylinders, to ensure quality and safety across the plant.

The role emphasizes safe operation of forklifts, routine inspections, and accurate production records. A high school diploma or equivalent and some warehouse experience are preferred; benefits and shift incentives are provided.

Qualificações

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Warehouse experience is preferred.
• Forklift experience is preferred.
• Loading/unloading, heavy lifting.
• Excellent attention to detail and safety awareness.

Responsabilidades

• Care for and steward equipment in the production facility, including compressors, pumps and filling stations.
• Safely support the flow and transport of cylinders, including filling and quality checks.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance contributions to keep equipment in excellent condition.
• Move materials and products safely using a forklift when required.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, cylinder tracking and production activities.
• Uphold all safety protocols and participate in safety initiatives.
• Attend team meetings and cooperate on continuous improvement initiatives.
