Job summary

Airgas is seeking a 2nd shift Plant Operator at our Ringgold, GA facility to ensure safe and efficient operation of production and filling processes for industrial gases. You will oversee equipment and cylinders, perform quality checks, and help maintain production records.

The role requires forklift experience, attention to safety, and a commitment to teamwork and reliability. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans, with potential for additional incentives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in plant operations, industrial maintenance, or a related field is preferred.
• Technical certification in industrial operations is a plus.
• Industrial Gas Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for and steward equipment within our production facility, including compressors, pumps, filling stations, and forklifts.
• Safely support the flow and transport of cylinders, including filling and quality checks, following safety guidelines.
• Engage in routine inspections and maintenance contributions to keep equipment in excellent condition.
• Maintain records of equipment maintenance, cylinder tracking, and production activities for team transparency.
• Participate in safety initiatives and team meetings to improve working practices.
