Job summary

Luck Stone Leesburg Plant is seeking a Plant Operator for the 2nd shift (3:00 pm–2:00 am, Mon–Thu). The operator will monitor crushers, conveyors, screens, feeders and bins, conduct pre-shift inspections, and perform hands-on maintenance to maximize production while emphasizing safety.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, hands-on maintenance experience, and basic welding skills. The position offers on-site work in Leesburg/Ashburn, with opportunities for skill-based advancement.

Qualifications

• Prior experience operating and/or performing hands-on maintenance in a similar environment.
• Mechanically inclined with proven work experience.
• Basic welding or torch skills necessary.
• Passion for learning and adapting to equipment.
• Ability to commit to 2nd shift long term and work from elevated platforms.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-shift inspection of the plant and equipment.
• Assist with preventative and reactive maintenance, including changing screens and belt splices.
• Monitor and ensure proper operation of crushers, conveyors, screens, feeders and bins.
• Support other site projects as requested by management and team members.
• Maintain a clean, organized site at end of shift.
