Job summary

Airgas, an Air Liquide company, is hiring a Plant Operator for the Export, PA location on 2nd shift (1pm-9:30pm). You will safely handle and fill gas products into liquid, medical and high pressure cylinders, complying with all regulations and Airgas procedures.

The role includes cylinder analyses, documenting results, operating control panels, and loading/unloading cylinders safely. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, tuition assistance, paid holidays and more after 30

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED required.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Follows Airgas safety programs, OSHA, and related rules and procedures.
• Minimum of 1 year of related technical experience; may accept an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs cylinder analyses and supports alignment with government and company standards.
• Calculates gas mixtures and documents results.
• Ensures safe handling and correct cylinder/valve combinations for mixtures.
• Operates control panels, valves, and gauges with precision.
• Completes records of production actions and adheres to procedures and regulations on hazardous materials.
• Safely operates forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment.
• Loads/unloads cylinders and ensures proper securing.
• Contributes to team success as needed.
