Job summary

Luck Companies is seeking an experienced Plant Operator for the 2nd shift (Mon-Thu 3:30 pm–2:30 am) at the Spotsylvania/Fredericksburg plant. You will monitor crushers, conveyors, screens, feeders and bins, performing hands-on maintenance to maximize production while upholding safety standards.

Responsibilities include pre-shift inspections, performing maintenance tasks, and supporting team projects. The role requires comfort with heights and a long-term commitment to the night shift.

Qualifications

• Experience operating or performing hands-on maintenance in a similar environment.
• Mechanically inclined with proven hands-on skills.
• Basic welding or torch skills required.
• Demonstrated willingness to learn and adapt to equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-shift plant inspections and monitor crushers, conveyors, screens, feeders and bins.
• Assist with preventative and reactive maintenance including changing screens, greasing, roller changes, belt splices and crusher work.
• Ensure safe operation and maintain equipment in good condition.
• Support other site projects as needed and assist teammates.
• Keep the work area clean and organized at shift end.
