Job summary

US Aggregates is seeking a 2nd Shift Equipment Operator/Laborer to help maintain daily production at the plant. The role includes operating heavy equipment, performing routine maintenance, fueling, and basic repairs under the supervision of the Plant Manager. Strong team collaboration and safety focus are essential.

The position requires a High School diploma or equivalent, good communication skills, and readiness to work nights or weekends as needed in a production environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Familiarity with US Aggregates safety and operating principles preferred.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English and understand basic math.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain plant equipment to support daily production.
• Perform pre-shift and end-of-shift checks on equipment and report variances.
• Support plant upkeep: shoveling, sweeping, and general housekeeping.
• Fuel, oil, grease equipment and follow safety manuals.
• Communicate conditions of equipment and improvement ideas to supervision.
• Assist in plant repairs and other duties as directed.
• Work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends as needed.
• Adhere to company safety procedures and incident reporting.
