Job summary

Red Diamond in Moody, AL is seeking a Plant Maintenance Technician on 2nd shift to keep production lines running smoothly. You’ll troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and support line setups in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of maintenance experience, with Allen Bradley PLC exposure and strong electrical/mechanical skills. This role offers a 4-day work week and competitive pay with good benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Technical School/Industrial Maintenance preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of maintenance or related technical experience.
• Allen Bradley PLC experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of PLC programming and ladder logic is a plus.
• Strong electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulics skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Computer proficiency including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

Plant Maintenance Technician – 4-Day Work Week!

Location: Red Diamond | Moody, AL
Schedule: Second Shift: Monday–Thursday, 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM
Overtime: Occasional Fridays as needed

What You’ll Do:

What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Technical School, Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, or related training preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of maintenance or related technical experience
• Technical school preferred
• Allen Bradley PLC experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of PLC programming and ladder logic is a plus
• Strong electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and air cylinder hydraulics skills
• Ability to successfully handle multiple tasks at one time and meet deadlines
• Computer proficiency including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
