Job summary

US Aggregates, based in Indianapolis, is seeking an Equipment Operator/Laborer to maintain production, safety, and quality across the plant. You will operate front-end loaders, haul trucks, skid steers, and related heavy equipment, perform pre-shift checks, fuel and service machines, and keep accurate records.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, dependable attendance, ability to work days/nights/weekends, strong communication, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Regular, dependable attendance is required.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English; basic math understood.
• Follow written and verbal instructions to complete tasks on schedule.
• Experience with safety practices and daily documentation is expected.
• Willingness to participate in safety briefings and trainings.

Responsibilities

• Operate, service, and maintain heavy equipment to keep plant in production.
• Fuel, oil, grease, and perform safety checks on equipment.
• Perform pre-shift and end-of-shift maintenance and inspections.
• Complete required paperwork and maintain records.
• Participate in safety training and pass examinations as needed.
• Adhere to safety rules, policies, and PPE requirements.
