Shambaugh & Son L.P. is seeking a 2nd Shift Welder for our Fire Fabrication shop. You will weld and cut steel pipe using a universal welder, read blueprints, and follow safety procedures in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 4+ years of welding experience, the ability to stand 8–12 hours, and the willingness to work Saturdays. Attention to detail and reliable attendance are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• 4+ years welding experience.
• Read a tape measure.
• Pipe welding certificates a plus.
• Be dependable.
• Good attendance and a positive attitude are critical for this position.
• Willingness to learn and a strong work ethic.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to pass a drug test.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and drawings.
• Take measurements to plan layouts.
• Set up welding machine according to specifications.
• Weld components using semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions.
• Maintain equipment in a safe operating condition.
• Test all machine welds to ensure quality.
• Weld by hand any leaks found in quality tests.
• Other duties as assigned.
