Jobot in Nampa, ID seeks a hands-on Conformal Coating Supervisor to lead coating operations for PCB assemblies. You will oversee methods, training, and quality control while driving production efficiency and CAPA iterations.

The role requires 3+ years in electronics manufacturing, 1+ year of leadership, and strong knowledge of coating materials and IPC standards. On-site work with comprehensive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing (PCBA/SMT).
• 1+ year of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of conformal coating materials (acrylic, silicone, urethane, epoxy, parylene is a plus).
• Experience with coating equipment (selective coating machines, spray systems, curing ovens).
• Familiarity with inspection methods (UV light inspection, thickness measurement).
• Understanding of IPC standards and electronics quality requirements.
• Ability to read work instructions, process documentation, and assembly drawings.
• Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Supervise daily conformal coating operations for PCB assemblies.
• Lead and develop a team of coating operators and technicians; ensure proper training.
• Oversee coating methods including spray, selective coating, dip, and manual brush techniques.
• Ensure masking, curing, and inspection processes are followed.
• Monitor and improve yield, rework, throughput, and defects metrics.
• Troubleshoot coating defects like bubbling and delamination.
• Collaborate with Quality and Engineering to implement CAPA.
• Ensure IPC-CC-830, IPC-A-610 and internal quality standards.
• Support NPI by validating coating processes and creating work instructions.
• Coordinate with maintenance and vendors for repairs and calibration.
• Enforce ESD, safety, and chemical handling protocols.
