Job summary

Siemens Mobility is hiring a Parts Washing Technician (2nd Shift) for our Rail Traction Components unit in Alpharetta, GA. You will safely operate washing equipment, load/unload parts with cranes, and inspect parts to ensure quality while performing routine maintenance.

You must lift up to 35 pounds, communicate in English, and work in a team in a non-climate-controlled environment. A one-time sign-on bonus may be offered after 180 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 35 pounds.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (read, speak, write).
• Ability to collaborate in a team environment.
• Ability to learn quickly and execute tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate manual, automatic, and pressure-washing equipment safely.
• Load and unload parts using cranes and washer-station equipment.
• Inspect cleaned parts to ensure quality standards.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance according to schedule.
• Stand and walk during shift while handling heavy parts safely.
• Demonstrate attention to detail, self-motivation, and effective communication.
