Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and statistics knowledge.
• Clear English communication and proper documentation skills.
• Knowledge of EH&S regulations and product standards.
• Basic computer skills and lean manufacturing principles.
• Knowledge of machines and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and disassemble gearboxes by mounting housings and couplings, installing gears, bearings, spacers, covers, fasteners, and related components.
• Use hand and power tools to align, fit, fasten, drill, and tap parts according to specifications.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and work orders to complete assembly activities accurately.
• Measure dimensions, tolerances, and clearances with precision instruments; inspect, test, and adjust units to meet quality and customer requirements.
• Mark identifying information, attach nameplates, clean work areas and parts, and maintain tool inventory.
• Partner with supervisors, engineers, and team members to review work, explain procedures, conduct 6S audits and safety walks, and improve processes and workflows.
