Job summary

Collins Aerospace is hiring for a 2nd Shift Painter I in Jamestown, ND. Responsibilities include priming and finishing paint on detail parts and assemblies to current specs, maintaining paint equipment, and following SOPs. You will mix paints, adjust spray guns, perform prep work, and cure parts after topcoats.

Basic computer skills and ability to read blueprints are preferred. Required are a high school diploma or GED (or equivalent) and authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; if no HS diploma, two years of relevant experience.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Prime and final paint detail parts and assemblies per specs.
• Maintain paint equipment and mix paint.
• Follow SOPs and specifications.
• Mix paint to viscosity specs.
• Clean, assemble and adjust spray guns/equipment.
• Wash, wipe and sand parts as needed.
• Mask and prep parts for paint.
• Cure parts after topcoat.
• Operate chart recorders.
