Collins Aerospace in Jamestown, ND seeks a Painter II (2nd shift) to prime and finish paint on detail parts and assemblies. You will maintain paint equipment, mix paints, follow procedures, and ensure quality per specifications. The role requires blueprints interpretation and operation of curing ovens and chart recorders.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prime and final paint detail parts and assemblies per specs.

• Follow SOPs and specs, mix paint viscosity.
• Clean, assemble and adjust spray guns and equipment.
• Wash, wipe and sand parts; mask and prep for painting.

Collins Aerospace is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter II (2nd shift) to join our team in Jamestown, ND. This role is essential to delivering high-quality, visually stunning products that meet the rigorous standards our customers expect.
What You Will Do:

• Responsible for priming and final painting of detail parts and final assemblies to current spec requirements
• Maintain paint equipment, mix paint, paint control.
• Follow standard operating procedures and specifications
• Mix paint to specified viscosity
• Clean, assemble and adjust spray guns and equipment
• Wash, wipe and sand parts when necessary
• Mask and prep parts for paint as required
• Cure parts after topcoat application
• Operate Chart recorders

Qualifications We Require:

• Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.

• Able to operate a curing oven and chart recorders.
