Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Jamestown, ND seeks a Painter II (2nd shift) to prime and finish paint on detail parts and assemblies. You will maintain paint equipment, mix paints, follow procedures, and ensure quality per specifications. The role requires blueprints interpretation and operation of curing ovens and chart recorders.

The position is onsite with competitive benefits, paid time off, and retirement plans. Prior painting experience and HS diploma are preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Prefer basic computer skills including Excel, Word and Email.
• Experience operating a curing oven and chart recorders.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Prime and final paint detail parts and assemblies per specs.
• Maintain paint equipment, mix paint and control paint quality.
• Follow SOPs and specs, mix paint viscosity.
• Clean, assemble and adjust spray guns and equipment.
• Wash, wipe and sand parts; mask and prep for painting.
• Cure parts after topcoat; operate chart recorders.
