The ideal candidate for the Paint Supervisor position will be self-directed and motivated, with a strong background in auto body painting techniques, a keen eye for detail, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship.

Responsibilities:
  1. Supervision and Team Management: Lead efficient manufacturing practices and be accountable for Safety, Quality, Delivery & Cost throughout the department.
  2. Maintain a positive outlook on production goals and ensure good attendance.
  3. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of prep, caulk, & painters, providing guidance, training, and support.
  4. Paint Process Oversight: Oversee the entire painting process, ensuring adherence to standards and industry best practices.
  5. Quality Control: Inspect painted vehicles for quality, addressing imperfections promptly.
  6. Color Matching: Use techniques and equipment to achieve accurate color matches.
  7. Paint Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and oversee paint booths, spray guns, compressors, and other equipment.
  8. Inventory Management: Manage paint and supply inventory, minimizing waste and costs.
  9. Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and practices, ensuring a safe working environment.
  10. People Development: Train team members and develop backup personnel.
  11. Communication: Collaborate with other departments for workflow and communication.
  12. Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve painting processes and techniques.
  13. Documentation: Maintain records of paint formulas, color codes, and other relevant data.
