Job summary

Brakebush is seeking a PK Quality Control Technician for the 2nd shift in Westfield, WI. The role ensures QA/QC compliance, verifies packaging and line checks, and completes documentation per SQF policies. Typical hours are 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and wage is $24.85 per hour. Candidates should pass drug and background checks and be able to work in a fast-paced, noisy production environment with PPE.

Qualifications

• Well motivated, work well with little supervision and communicate with coworkers.
• Knowledge of basic Food Safety and hygiene.
• Ability to multi-task, stay organized and think on your feet.

Responsibilities

• Perform frozen temperature and line metal detector checks.
• Perform bag x-ray/bag metal detector/box x-ray checks.
• Bone checks (Line 1).
• Verify slicer blade conditions (Line 1).
• Complete product quality checks on finished product (sieve testing, counts, dimensions).
• Ensure proper date code information on bags.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment.
• Complete required paperwork.
• Data entry in Infinity system.
• Other duties as assigned.
