KIK Consumer Products is hiring a Packer 2 for the 2nd shift (1:00 pm - 9:30 pm, weekends as needed) to package, inspect, label, and prep pool chemicals for shipment in a GMP environment. The role requires standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and following safety and quality procedures.

Training is provided with full benefits and growth opportunities. Base starting hourly rate is $23.00 with shift differentials of $0.50 for second shift and $1.00 for third shift.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• No minimum years of experience; we train.
• Preferred: inspecting, verifying, or signing off on work.
• Preferred: manufacturing, packaging, warehouse, or production experience.
• Preferred: chemical manufacturing experience.
• Experience working to a written customer specification.
• Personal integrity and sound judgement — this role verifies product quality for customers.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, overtime, weekends, and respond to call-outs.
• Ability to safely wear required PPE for extended periods.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations and complete production records.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, procedures, rules, and standards.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work safely around chemicals and manufacturing equipment.
• Must pass all pre-employment requirements, including a functional capacity assessment and drug screening.

Mansioni

• Execute the packaging of pool chemical products into approved containers, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Perform thorough inspections of products and packaging components for quality and defects.
• Apply labels, lot codes, date codes, and regulatory markings per specs.
• Confirm correct product, packaging materials, and quantities for each production run.
• Safely operate and monitor packaging equipment (conveyors, palletizers, shrink-wrap, labeling).
• Perform duties across the entire production line with minimal supervision.
• Monitor packaging lines and report equipment malfunctions.
• Stack, wrap, and prepare finished goods for warehouse storage or shipment.
• Complete production, quality, and inventory documentation accurately and timely.
• Perform line clearances and housekeeping to maintain a clean area.
• Follow safety procedures for hazardous chemicals, PPE, lockout/tagout, emergency response.
• Participate in inventory counts and material reconciliation.
• Assist with changeovers, setup, and cleaning of packaging equipment.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisor.
• Assist other Dry B Operators as needed.
