Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Production Packer for Joliet, IL. You will work in a heavy-duty chemical environment packaging products, handling 50–60 lb bags, operating bagging equipment, and ensuring quality and safety on the line.

You will also maintain production records, assist with staging materials, and potentially operate a sit-down forklift. This is a 2nd shift role with full onsite duties and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50–60 lb bags repeatedly throughout shift.
• Experience in production/manufacturing environments.
• Comfort around chemicals in an industrial setting.
• Ability to stand most of the shift and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lift and place 50 lb bags onto conveyors for processing.
• Palletize finished goods and stretch wrap pallets for storage/shipment.
• Operate, monitor, and adjust bagging machines for consistent packaging.
• Calibrate scales and verify bag types and weights.
• Inspect bags for correct weight, seals, labeling, and quality.
