Job summary

Maola Local Dairies seeks a Packer to transfer and stack products from the production line to pallets, recording tag numbers, product and quantity details. The role requires adherence to GMPs, safety standards, and thorough documentation.

Exercise flexibility as the position is on 2nd shift (Sunday–Thursday) with overtime and holiday coverage. Union benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, and PTO; comprehensive training is provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma; higher education or certification preferred.
• Three years in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transfer and stack product from line to pallet and record pallet data.
• Maintain accurate sell-by codes, case sizes, and quantities on pallets.
• Ensure pallet tags are correct and pallet areas are kept clean.
• Assist line and filler operators during product changeovers.
• Notify supervisor if equipment cannot operate within 5 minutes of issue.
• Follow GMPs, safety regulations, and plant policies.
