Job summary

Maola Milk is seeking a Packaging Technician to tend machines in our dairy packaging lines, ensuring quality and efficiency. The role requires monitoring, adjusting, and reporting malfunctions across multiple fillers, labeling, and sealing equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Tends machine that fill pasteurized products into containers.
• Examines containers from all lines for seals, labels, weights, dates, and valves.
• Seals checked top and bottom for stains; valves checked for leakage.
• Review with the lab for approvals of each product change on each machine.
• Observes flow of milk into machine and removes defective containers.
• Notifies foreman of machine malfunction.
• Places containers on machine and adjusts machines of various sizes.
• Records information in 15-minute intervals for weight, date, and label.
• Follow all safety and food quality standards.
• Perform organoleptic testing on finished product.
• Other duties may be assigned.
