Job summary

KENT Consumer Brands Americas, LLC in Bolingbrook, IL is seeking a 2nd Shift Machine Operator to join our packaging team. You will operate food packaging equipment, run the line, perform changeovers, and ensure the quality of finished products under supervision.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds including above head and below the waist for 50% or more of shift.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Must be able to work at line speed with the ability to make coordinated hand and finger movements.

Responsibilities

• Train associates and production workers to perform their required duties. This includes running the equipment and following KPFG Core Procedures
• Maintain all documents such as pre-op checklist, pack sheets, metal detectors, lot numbers, etc.
• Review daily production requirements with the Production Lead and/or Supervisor
• Makes package and product change-overs on all appropriate equipment
• Preventative maintenance and minor repairs on his assigned line equipment at the direction of the Supervisor
• Assures the quality of the finished product by utilizing the QA staff and personal observations of the production and packaging processes
• Performs cleaning and sanitizing assignments on his/her area and equipment (sweeping, mopping, dusting, scrubbing, washing, etc) Loads trash in the dumpster
