Job summary

KLN Family Brands in Delano, MN is hiring a Packaging Operator for the 2nd shift (3PM–1AM, Mon–Thu). This full‑time position operates packaging machinery, sets up lines, tracks packaging materials, and helps sustain product quality and line efficiency.

You will work with supervisors, perform sanitation duties, complete daily reports, assist with training, and support safety and GMP practices. Compensation starts at $21.83/hr plus 6% SD.

Responsibilities

• Operate daily extrusion and production reports; communicate with supervisor on production concerns.
• Start up and set up all required equipment for production.
• Control packaging materials, code dates, expiration dates, stickers and product specs.
• Maintain product and packaging quality, weight controls, and line efficiency.
• Perform sanitation duties and assist in equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Adjust equipment and troubleshoot when problems occur; complete daily reports.
• Assist in organizing line workers and training of line personnel.
• Coordinate record keeping, cleaning schedules, packaging yields and efficiency.
