Job summary

KLN Family Brands, based in Perham, MN, is hiring a Night Shift Dry Packaging Machine Operator to run and maintain the packaging line for quality, efficiency, and safety. The role reports to the night shift supervisor and supports contamination control and line performance.

Key tasks include setting up equipment, recording daily production data, and coordinating with maintenance. Physical tasks and shift flexibility are required, with strong English communication throughout.

Qualifications

• General mathematical ability is required.
• Basic computer skills are needed to manage production data.
• Must read, speak, write and understand English.
• Ability to lift up to 65 lbs on a routine basis.
• Must be willing to work in shifts and adapt as needed.
• Must be comfortable climbing heights as part of job tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the night-shift dry packaging line, ensuring quality and safety.
• Set up and start equipment for production runs.
• Control packaging materials, dates, and batch-related records.
• Complete daily production reports and assist line workers as needed.
• Support maintenance personnel with repairs and adjustments on equipment.
• Coordinate cleaning, yields, and charting data for line performance.
