Job summary

Bayer in Myerstown, PA is seeking a Packaging Operator for the 3rd shift to set up, operate and maintain packaging lines. You will work with autonomous teams to improve efficiency and adopt digital tools while following cGMP and safety standards.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and 6+ months’ experience with inventory systems (SAP/MES). Overtime may be required and strong English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; overtime may be needed.
• 6+ months’ experience with automated inventory systems or equivalent software (SAP, MES, MS Office).
• Good English communication; GMP/SOP environment experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot packaging equipment.
• Work in multidisciplinary autonomous teams to drive efficiency and adoption of digital tools.
• Record production results and material movements using SAP/MES/EBR systems.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP and SOP; uphold safety and quality standards.
• Maintain 5S housekeeping; participate in safety improvement initiatives.
• Support continuous improvement and knowledge transfer within the team.
