Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a Packer for the 2nd shift in Prescott, WI. This full-time role involves inspecting, packaging, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards to ensure product quality.

2nd Shift hours are 2pm–10pm, Monday–Friday, with a base pay of $17.00 per hour plus a $1.25 per hour shift differential. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and basic English, math, and computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic reading and writing skills in English.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic mathematics skills, including the ability to read a tape measure.
• Basic computer skills (keyboard, mouse, basic functions).

Responsibilities

• Inspect all products according to company procedures and timelines.
• Pull and retain samples for quality assurance testing.
• Complete accurate and legible paperwork on time.
• Communicate all product nonconformities to the Operator.
• Adhere strictly to all food safety standards and practices, including product, facility, and personal requirements.
• Follow production schedules and ensure packaging materials (boxes and cores) are ready at all times.
• Package all finished products according to specified procedures.
• Maintain the safety and cleanliness of production areas, ensuring scrap and trash are properly managed.
• Attend all required meetings and handle other essential tasks as assigned.
