Job summary

Cooper Electric Supply, LLC, part of the Sonepar group, is seeking a warehouse supervisor to lead team leaders and warehouse staff in picking, packing and loading operations in our Cranbury, NJ distribution center.

You will ensure staff are trained, safety standards followed, and Dematic warehouse automation runs smoothly while meeting productivity targets. This role offers comprehensive family-friendly benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes.
• Attention to detail and good time management skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to prioritize needs in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to exercise safety while carrying out all job responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision to team leaders and warehouse associates who are assigned to pick and pack orders utilizing Dematic warehouse automation.
• Ensure that staff is appropriately trained in picking/packing, and quality control.
• Balance staffing needs while fulfilling customer orders
• Work closely with our maintenance mechanics to ensure that Dematic system is fully operational.
• Communicate status updates throughout the evening with the other shift supervisors and managers.
• Motivate employees to meet productivity goals and efficiency goals.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
