Job summary

Cooper Electric Supply, LLC., part of the Sonepar group, is hiring a warehouse supervisor in Cranbury, NJ. The role oversees team leaders and warehouse staff, ensuring efficient picking/packing using Dematic automation while maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will lead staffing, training, and performance to meet customer demand, coordinate with maintenance, and drive productivity on 2nd shift. Competitive benefits accompany full-time employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision to team leaders and warehouse associates who are assigned to pick and pack orders utilizing Dematic warehouse automation.
• Ensure that staff is appropriately trained in picking/packing, and quality control.
• Balance staffing needs while fulfilling customer orders.
• Work closely with maintenance mechanics to ensure that Dematic system is fully operational.
• Communicate status updates throughout the evening with the other shift supervisors and managers.
• Motivate employees to meet productivity goals and efficiency goals.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

• The ability to stand and walk for the full length of the assigned shift.
• The ability to lift, push, and pull material and objects weighing up to 50 lbs. and heavier weights with proper equipment.
• The ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climbto perform various duties.
• The ability to safely operate appropriate powered industrial trucks. Training will be provided.
• This job is performed in a large distribution center warehouse environment.
• Ability to operate computers and/or relevant warehouse computer software.

Salary Range: $60-$70k

Location: Cranbury, NJ

Work Hours: Monday-Friday 3pm start until completion of 2nd shift picking OR 5pm start until completion 2nd shift loading.
