Job summary

Kimball Midwest, a national distributor of maintenance, repair and operation products, is seeking a 2nd Shift Order Filler Lead for our Distribution Center in Hilliard, Ohio. This role involves supervising order filling staff, ensuring a smooth pick flow, training new associates, and coordinating scans and shipping activities.

The position offers a 2:30pm–11:00pm schedule, Monday through Friday, with a pay rate of $21 per hour plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of general warehouse experience, preferably in an order filling or shipping capacity.
• Ability to read and write small letters and numbers; perform arithmetic calculations; and understand written and oral instructions.
• Ability to concentrate and communicate with management and co-workers.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions
• Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Supervise order filling personnel per DC Manager guidelines.
• Maintain a scheduled flow during the order filling cycle and manage breaks.
• Train and follow up with new associates in Order Filling.
• Select orders and scan them; handle items not scanning by pressing F2.
• Check picking instructions and ensure proper quantities and locations.
• Move carts to shipping areas and unload as needed.
• Keep workspace organized and ensure cleanliness of order filling spaces.
