Job summary

Kimball Midwest is seeking a 2nd Shift Order Filler Lead at our Hilliard, Ohio distribution center. You will supervise order filling staff, ensure a smooth cycle flow, and train new associates while maintaining accuracy and safety.

The role focuses on selecting and scanning orders, following picking instructions, and keeping the workspace orderly. Competitive hourly pay with strong benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of general warehouse experience, preferably in an order filling or shipping capacity.
• Ability to read and write small letters and numbers; perform arithmetic calculations; understand instructions.
• Ability to concentrate and communicate with management and coworkers.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Standing for extended periods throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Supervise order filling personnel per DC Manager guidelines.
• Maintain a scheduled flow during the order filling cycle, including breaks.
• Train and follow up with new associates in Order Filling.
• Select orders and scan into the system; handle non-scanning items.
• Verify picking instructions and ensure correct fulfillment.
• Move carts to shipping areas and keep the workspace organized and clean.
