Job summary

DP World in Rialto, CA is seeking an Operations Supervisor for the 2nd shift to lead a manufacturing logistics team and ensure safe, efficient material handling and timely receipt and shipment of goods.

You will coach staff, monitor performance against daily metrics, enforce processes and safety standards, and coordinate with the materials group to maintain smooth operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience supervising in Automotive, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain/Logistics facilities.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience and/or training in Occupational Health & Safety, 5S, and Lean methodologies.
• Knowledge of quality systems to monitor staff performance and costs.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate work, train, motivate, monitor and evaluate performance of team members; ensure safe operation of material handling equipment.
• Monitor and measure team performance for accuracy and document on daily production metrics.
• Identify and eliminate safety and housekeeping hazards to minimize accidents.
• Ensure compliance with processes, work instructions, standard work and work elements.
• Liaise with materials department to ensure on-time receipt and shipment of material.
• Other duties as assigned.
