Job summary

DP World is seeking a driven, hands-on 2nd Shift Operations Supervisor to lead frontline teams in a fast-paced warehouse and logistics environment. This role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and quality while developing and motivating team members to hit daily production goals.

You will supervise, coach, and monitor performance, coordinate with materials and safety processes, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience supervising in Automotive, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain/Logistics.
• Experience with Occupational Health & Safety, 5S, Lean Methodologies preferred.
• Quality systems knowledge to monitor staff performance and costs.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate work, train, motivate, monitor and evaluate performance of team members.
• Ensure safe operation of material handling equipment.
• Monitor and measure team performance against daily production metrics.
• Identify and eliminate safety hazards and housekeeping hazards.
• Coordinate with materials department to ensure on-time receipt and shipment.
• Other duties as assigned.

This role is critical to ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality operations while developing and motivating team members to achieve daily production goals. About The Role

How you will contribute:

• Plan, coordinate work, train, motivate, monitor and evaluate performance of team members; ensure their ability to safely operate material handling equipment to move materials.
• Monitor and measure team member performance for accuracy and document on daily production metrics.
• Identify and eliminate safety and housekeeping hazards to minimize workplace accidents.
• Ensure compliance of employees to processes, work instructions, standard work and work elements.
• Liaise with materials department to ensure on time receipt and shipment of material.
• Other duties as assigned.

Your Key Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED required.
• Experience supervising in an Automotive, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain/Logistics facility.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience and or training regarding the Occupational Health & Safety, 5S, Lean Methodologies preferred.
• Quality systems knowledge - to a reasonable level be able to monitor staff performance and costs within the department (including, but not limited to: time-keeping, quality, productivity, etc.).
