Job summary

1-800-FLOWERS.COM, INC is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to lead our distribution and production operations. You will supervise daily activities, manage labor, materials, safety, quality, and costs, and drive continuous improvement across shifts.

You will provide hands-on leadership, coach employees, and balance productivity with cost controls in a fast-paced environment while collaborating across departments and ensuring customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in warehouse, distribution, production, fulfillment, manufacturing, or similar operational environment.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Experience with SAP/WMS and strong analytical use of reports to drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and service expectations are met.
• Staff shifts within budget guidelines and staffing requirements.
• Monitor costs and labor to meet performance goals; drive continuous improvement.
• Provide coaching and development to employees and lead teams for growth.
• Maintain SOPs, training materials, and required documentation.
