Job summary

Schnellecke Logistics USA is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee the operations area in alignment with the quality management system and client requirements. The role focuses on ensuring the area meets strategic objectives and goals through strong process discipline and leadership.

Responsibilities include directing processes, managing resources, applying corporate procedures, and driving continuous improvement while maintaining safety and compliance with budgets and SLAs.

• Must have strong communication, organizational and time management skills.
• Data entry and computer skills may be required.

Responsibilities

• Execute the values, philosophy, mission, strategy, policies, and standards of the organization to achieve the vision.
• Apply core business technologies and central procedures to the area to ensure best practices.
• Implement continuous improvement processes to create more solid and efficient procedures.
• Ensure warehouse personnel comply with SOPs, policies and workload demands.
• Manage resources (human, material and tools) to support the production plan.
• Direct processes within the business unit to meet operation service level agreements with the client.
• Validate action plans to achieve quality limits defined in the unit.
• Foster operational excellence for strategic indicators and tactical initiatives.
• Authorize expenditure within budget and company policies.
• Communicate with Schnellecke Logistics and client management.
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow safety rules.
• Assist with budget planning as required.
• Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the Shift Manager.
