Job summary

Woodward is seeking an experienced operations leader to supervise front-line teams on 2nd shift at our Illinois manufacturing site. You will drive daily production targets, allocate resources, coach staff, and push continuous improvement using lean practices.

Base pay ranges from $85,000 to $136,000 per year, with a 10% shift differential and eligibility for annual bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k), stock contribution, tuition reimbursement, and generous paid time off.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and team management experience.
• Experience with lean methodologies.
• Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Tableau and ERP systems.
• Knowledge of MRP inventory planning.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of front line team members to meet daily production targets.
• Allocate and coordinate resources to meet operational objectives.
• Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, manage member development, recognition and ensure accountability and policy adherence.
• Identifies and resolves day-to-day technical and operational issues and coaching and mentoring team's problem-solving capabilities.
• Collaborates with key stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness to improve the production system and meet customer demand.
