Job summary

Michigan Turkey Producers seeks a 2nd Shift Operations Manager in Wyoming, MI to oversee safety, quality, yields, and staffing. You will lead a high-performing team, drive continuous improvement, and ensure adherence to HACCP and USDA procedures under the guidance of the Plant Manager.

Qualifications

• Experience leading production teams in a food manufacturing setting.
• Knowledge of HACCP, USDA procedures, GMPF standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced 2nd shift environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety, production, quality, yields, and attendance for the shift.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce waste and improve flow.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, QA, HR, and USDA for compliance and issues.
• Ensure shift handoffs and proper PPE use and safety adherence.
• Maintain records of production, downtime, payroll, and key data.
• Meet daily production schedules and staffing requirements.
