Job summary

Pitney Bowes is hiring an Onsite Maintenance Technician Trainee for our Brown Deer, WI facility. The role focuses on mechanical and electronic repairs of printer and mail sorting equipment, with a structured trainee program and opportunities to grow.

Shift: 2nd shift, Saturday–Friday 4pm–12am. Base rate $28.00/hr plus $2.00/hr shift premium. Candidates should have at least 1 year of break/fix mechanical experience and familiarity with Windows PC environments.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting and repairing complex mechanical equipment with at least one year of break/fix mechanical experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Windows PC environment as it pertains to the operation of automated equipment preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand, walk, and bend 80% of the time with or without accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electronic repairs of all equipment including printer and mail sorting equipment.
• Complete preventative maintenance according to Mail Preparation Total Quality Management and vendor operating standards.
• Respond to equipment breakdown or emergency situations with urgency and expediency.
• Utilize inventory, pm schedule and work order systems, and maintains the spare parts/supply inventory.
• Evaluate and assess equipment problems by troubleshooting and completing repairs in a timely manner.
• Perform all additional duties as required
