Job summary

Saba Health Care is seeking a 2nd shift Nurse Supervisor to organize and assign nursing tasks, oversee the wing, and ensure quality care for residents. You will coordinate staff workloads, supervise aides, administer medications, and ensure compliance with regulations.

You must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with IL RN or LPN license, able to read, write and speak English, and capable of independent decision making and leadership.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and hold a current Registered Professional Nurse's license in the State of Illinois or a Licensed Practical Nurse license.
• Must have working knowledge of general nursing.
• Must be qualified to assume the position by training and /or previous experience of a supervisory status, preferably in a health care facility.

Responsibilities

• Assign aides to residents and supervise their duties.
• Administer all medications and maintain narcotics records.
• Make daily rounds and ensure Care Plans are followed.
• Direct charting and update resident records in the EMR system.
• Lead staff meetings and supervise quality nursing care.
