Briar-Place-Nursing-and-Rehabilitation in Illinois is seeking a 2nd shift Nurse Supervisor to organize shift workloads, oversee nursing staff, pass medications, and ensure resident care aligns with care plans.

You will supervise aides, update care plans regularly, administer injections and medications, coordinate with physicians, and ensure compliance with JCAHO/OBRA/IDPH/HFS standards. Experience with EMR documentation is preferred and strong leadership is essential.

Formación

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and hold a current RN or LPN license in Illinois.
• Must have working knowledge of general nursing.
• Supervisory experience in a health care facility preferred.
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions and mature judgments.
• Must have the ability and willingness to supervise and work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English clearly.

Responsabilidades

• Organize and assign all shifts to balance workload among staff.
• Supervise aides and check work to ensure tasks are completed.
• Administer injections and medications as prescribed.
• Review and update Care Plans every 30–90 days.
• Communicate with physicians and transcribe orders; document in EMR.
• Maintain safety, infection control, and adherence to facility policies.
