O'Neal Steel in Peru, IL is hiring a Machine Operator for the 2nd shift to set up and run non-thermal processing equipment. You will read blueprints, measure parts, and adjust machines to meet specifications while safely handling materials and operating related equipment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read blueprints and follow work instructions.
• Proficient with measurement tools (tape measure, calipers, micrometers).

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate non-thermal processing equipment (saws, shears, press brakes, rollers, digi-benders).
• Read and interpret blueprints and follow work instructions.
• Select and adjust machine settings and operate material handling equipment (forklift, cranes, stacker, etc.).
• Use measuring tools to verify tolerances and ensure quality.
• Provide high quality work to internal and external customers.
