Job summary

O'Neal Steel in Shelbyville, IN, is hiring a Machine Operator (non-thermal) for the 2nd shift. You will set up and operate non-thermal equipment, read blueprints, and use precision measuring tools to meet specifications with safety as a priority.

Responsibilities include handling equipment like saws, press brakes, rollers, and digi-benders, plus forklifts and cranes. Overtime may apply; background check and drug test required after offer.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate non-thermal processing equipment such as saws, shears, press brakes, rollers and digi-benders.
• Ability to operate forklift and other material handling equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret simple blueprints.
• Ability to use tape measure, calipers and micrometers.
• Commitment to providing high quality work to internal/external customers.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a variety of non-thermal processing equipment.
• Read blueprints and follow work instructions.
• Use measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Operate material handling equipment including forklift and cranes.
• Ensure safety guidelines and PPE are followed.
