Job summary

Perdue Farms in Perry, Georgia is seeking a New Hire Trainer for the Sanitation Department, onsite at our Harvest facility. The role supports training new associates, safety practices, and production knowledge to ensure safe, efficient operations.

You will lead hands-on training, coach proper work techniques, and reinforce safe habits, helping build strong teams and a culture of safety and excellence from day one. This position is located onsite in Perry, GA.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of consecutive work history with one employer within the past 3 years in a comparable field.
• 6 months of training experience.

Responsibilities

• Introduce associates to their jobs, including basic training, rotation procedures, safety work habits, donning and doffing procedures and clock-in and clock-out procedures.
• Maintain a skill level at or above the required certification level for all positions.
• Be able to perform a scrape test and evaluate new associates.
• Review performance with associates and advise of strengths and weaknesses.
• Forward documentation of all evaluations to Supervisor.
• Monitor associate's progress and report to supervisor on a daily basis.
• Facilitate incorporation of associate into work team.
