Job summary

You will monitor production processes, verify compliance with company, regulatory, and Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) standards, and help maintain a safe and high-quality environment throughout plant operations.

This position is located onsite at our facility in Perry, Georgia. Schedule is 1st Shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months of consecutive work history with one employer in past 3 years in a comparable field.
• Experience in food quality and/or safety is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately conduct product reviews for compliance to include grading, packaging and weights.
• Monitor and enforce company Quality and Food Safety Policies.
• Perform product reviews with Operations Group.
• Familiar with GMP and Sanitation SOPs; implement Corrective Actions if deviations are observed.
• Continually evaluate potential for foreign material contamination in assigned areas.
• Perform other duties as directed by management to meet department needs.
