Job summary

CareDx is seeking a Molecular/Medical Laboratory Technologist I for the 2nd shift in Waltham, MA. The role supports the Clinical Laboratory in processing clinical specimens, performing moderate to high complexity analyses, maintaining QA/QC programs, and ensuring CAP/CLIA compliance.

The candidate will operate laboratory instruments, document maintenance, assist in training, and help ensure specimen integrity while meeting turnaround times.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Laboratory Science/Medical Technology or related field.
• CAP certification or state licensure required.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform moderate and highly complex analytic testing with appropriate supervision.
• Maintain quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) programs and records.
• Operate laboratory instruments and ensure proper functioning of equipment.
• Prepare specimens for analysis and determine acceptability of samples within guidelines.
• Assist in training new employees and support continuous education.

Education
